1. Delivery Locations

We currently deliver gift hampers across Australia, including all major cities and regional areas. This includes Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, and surrounding suburbs and regions.

For remote or rural locations, delivery times may be extended. Please contact us via WhatsApp before placing your order to confirm delivery availability to your specific address.

2. Order Processing Time

Once your order is confirmed and payment is received, we aim to process and dispatch all standard hampers within 1–3 business days.

  • Standard hampers: 1–3 business days processing
  • Custom or personalised hampers: may require additional preparation time
  • Orders placed over weekends or public holidays will be processed the next business day
  • During peak periods (Christmas, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day), processing times may be extended — we recommend ordering early

3. Delivery Timeframes

After dispatch, delivery times vary depending on your location and our courier partners. Estimated timeframes are as follows:

  • Sydney Metro: 1–2 business days
  • NSW Regional: 2–4 business days
  • Interstate — Major Cities (VIC, QLD, SA, WA): 2–5 business days
  • Remote / Rural Areas: 5–10 business days

These are estimated timeframes only and cannot be guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary due to courier capacity, public holidays, or other factors outside our control.

4. Delivery Address Responsibility

It is your responsibility to ensure the delivery address provided at the time of ordering is correct and complete. This includes:

  • Full street address including unit/apartment number where applicable
  • Correct suburb, state, and postcode
  • Recipient's name and contact number

The Hamper Delights is not responsible for failed or delayed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details. Additional re-delivery fees may apply if a parcel is returned due to an address error.

5. Recipient Availability & Authority to Leave

We recommend ensuring the recipient is available to receive the delivery. If no one is home at the time of delivery, our courier may, at their discretion:

  • Leave the hamper in a safe location at the delivery address
  • Leave a calling card for collection or re-delivery
  • Return the parcel to a local depot for collection

If you have specific delivery instructions (e.g., "leave at front door" or "do not leave unattended"), please include these at checkout or communicate them via WhatsApp when placing your order.

6. Delivery Delays

While we always aim to meet estimated delivery timeframes, The Hamper Delights is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Courier or postal service disruptions
  • Severe weather conditions or natural events
  • Peak periods or public holidays
  • Incorrect delivery information provided by the customer

If you are concerned about a delivery, please contact us and we will do our best to assist in tracking your order.

7. Damaged or Missing Items

We take great care in packaging every hamper to ensure it arrives safely. If your order arrives damaged or items are missing, please:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of receiving the delivery
  • Provide photos of the damaged packaging and/or items
  • Include your order number in your message

We will assess each case individually and work with you to arrange a replacement or refund in line with the Australian Consumer Law.
